Personal question · Resilience, Equity
When the money didn't stretch
Groups often pool money for a trip, an event or a purchase, and sometimes the total falls short. People may have had different amounts to give, and the plan may need to change.
The two questions
- 1Describe a time a shared plan you were part of had to be scaled back or changed because the money did not stretch as expected. What happened, and how did you adjust?
- 2Tell us about a time you considered how fairly the group handled who gave what in that situation. What would you keep or do differently, knowing what you know now?
What raters look for
- Resilience
- Recovers from setbacks, manages stress constructively, and learns from failure.
- Equity
- Notices unequal access or treatment and acts fairly, especially for people with less power.
