Personal question · Self-awareness, Motivation
What it was worth to you
People often decide how much money, time or effort something deserves, and are surprised when someone else, looking at the same thing, reaches a very different answer. Think about a time that happened to you.
The two questions
- 1Tell us about a time you had to decide how much money, time or effort something was worth to you, and someone else valued it very differently. What did you decide, and why?
- 2Describe a time that difference showed you what drives your own choices, and how, if at all, it has changed the way you make similar decisions since.
What raters look for
- Self-awareness
- Recognizes own biases, limits and emotions, and seeks and uses feedback.
- Motivation
- Shows genuine, sustained drive and a clear reason for choices, including when work is unglamorous.
