Scene to read · Communication, Professionalism
Four hundred likes
You work at a small photo studio with your close friend Charlotte.
During this morning's lighting test, Charlotte caught you mid-sneeze, and without asking she posted the outtake to her public account, where it is collecting laughing comments. At the editing desk she shows you, with the studio's owner, Carlito, beside her.
The scene
Charlotte: Four hundred likes already! You look hilarious. People love you in this.
Carlito: It's the most attention we've had all year. Can the studio page share it?
Charlotte: Oh, say yes. It's just a silly face. You're not upset, are you?
Carlito: No pressure. But I'd post it before lunch while it's hot.
The two questions
- 1What would you say to Charlotte and Carlito?
- 2How do you decide when something that bothers you is worth raising and when to let it go?
