Teaching someone who learns differently

In teams, clubs and hobby groups, people often pick up new skills in different ways. Some learn by watching, others by reading, trying it themselves or talking it through.

The two questions

  1. 1Describe a time you had to explain or teach something to someone in a group who learned differently from you. What did you try, and how did you know whether it was working?
  2. 2Tell us about a time you adjusted how you communicated after something you tried did not get through. What did you change, and what did you learn about reaching people who learn differently?
