You are a close friend of Kunal, who was laid off two months ago.
Kunal has told you he is unhappy about the weight he has gained since losing his job, and he looks worn out today. At a Saturday farmers market pie stand, he is buying his third pastry of the morning. His sister Linh is with you both.
The scene
Kunal: Third one today, I know. Be straight with me. Am I letting myself go?
Linh: Kunal, you asked me that Tuesday and hated my answer.
Kunal: Because you're my sister. I'm asking someone who'll tell me the truth.
Linh: Then we both want to hear it. Go on.
