Sixty episodes, one shutdown
You are the solo creator of a hobby podcast about local stories.
For four years you have made a podcast about local history and neighborhood characters for a small, loyal audience. Your hosting service is closing next month, and your sixty older episodes will disappear unless you re-upload each one by hand at a new service. That would take several weekends. Lately, making new episodes has felt harder, and you have to decide what to do with the archive.
The two questions
- 1What would you do about the sixty episodes and the show's future, and why?
- 2Tell us about a time you kept working on something with little reward, or chose to let something go. How did you decide, and what did you learn?
What raters look for
- Motivation
- Shows genuine, sustained drive and a clear reason for choices, including when work is unglamorous.
- Resilience
- Recovers from setbacks, manages stress constructively, and learns from failure.
