Which valve is which
You are staying with relatives as a big storm approaches.
A big storm is due tonight, and your aunt Chiara is showing the household how to shut off the gas and water in the basement. She keeps turning it into a comedy routine for the relatives laughing at the top of the stairs, who have been tense all day. Your other aunt, Tomoko, is standing with you by the water heater.
The scene
Chiara: And this little red fellow is the gas. Or the water. Let's find out together!
Tomoko: I honestly still can't tell which one is which.
Chiara: Relax, it's lefty-loosey, righty-tighty. Hear that? First laugh they've had all day.
Tomoko: It's fine. Don't stop the show for me. I'll figure it out.
