Comment-only until Friday

You are co-writing a grant report with two teammates, due Friday.

You created the shared document and control who can edit it. Its edit history shows Ishita deleted Moana's findings section at two a.m. Moana told you her side by phone this morning, and tonight the three of you are in her living room with the laptop open.

The scene

Moana: Two a.m., Ishita. My findings gone, your name on what replaced them.

Ishita: I was merging duplicates half asleep. It was an accident, and it's restored.

Moana: Then you won't mind being comment-only until Friday.

Ishita: So I'm a suspect now? You own the file. Are you really locking me out?

The two questions

  1. 1What would you say to Moana and Ishita, and what would you do about Ishita's access?
  2. 2Describe a time you were caught between two teammates who each saw the other as in the wrong. What did you do?
