Personal question · Equity, Resilience

The work nobody sees

In many households, someone remembers the appointments, plans the meals, or keeps the peace after a tense moment. This work is easy to miss because when it is done well, nothing appears to have happened.

The two questions

  1. 1Tell us about a time you noticed that some people in your household or family were doing more of the unseen work than others. What did you do?
  2. 2Describe a time you kept going, or looked after your own energy, while trying to make that work fairer or more visible.

What raters look for

Equity
Notices unequal access or treatment and acts fairly, especially for people with less power.
Resilience
Recovers from setbacks, manages stress constructively, and learns from failure.
