Written scenario · Professionalism, Problem solving
Two commitments
You agreed three months ago to host a local nonprofit's annual fundraising gala.
The gala is on Thursday evening, and the organizers have built the program around you. On Monday, you are invited to a final interview for a job you really want. The only time the employer offers is Thursday at 6 p.m., an hour before the gala starts, on the other side of the city.

The two questions
- 1What would you do?
- 2What does being reliable mean to you? Give an example.
What raters look for
- Professionalism
- Is reliable, respects boundaries and confidentiality, and holds a consistent standard under pressure.
- Problem solving
- Gathers facts before acting, considers options and consequences, and chooses a workable next step.
