Written scenario · Professionalism, Ethics
After closing
You work part time at a clothing store.
Your manager expects staff to clock out at closing time and then stay about 30 minutes to fold clothes and clean. Everyone does it, and the manager calls it "just part of being a team player." A new coworker tells you she thinks it is illegal not to be paid for that time and asks if you will raise it with her.

The two questions
- 1What would you do?
- 2How should employees raise concerns about unfair practices at work?
What raters look for
- Professionalism
- Is reliable, respects boundaries and confidentiality, and holds a consistent standard under pressure.
- Ethics
- Weighs competing duties honestly, protects people from harm, and stays accountable to rules and values.
