Six hours until she lands
You are a member of a university club for mature students and happen to be in the club office.
The club's social media account has been taken over and is posting fake ticket links for tonight's fundraiser. Priya, the only officer with the recovery details, is on a flight. After a scam last year, members were told to trust only the official account. Two officers, Charlotte and Eitan, are at the office laptop.
The scene
Charlotte: It's posting fake ticket links. I'll warn everyone from my own account.
Eitan: We told members to trust only the club account. Yours looks like the scam.
Charlotte: Priya lands in six hours. People are buying those tickets tonight.
Eitan: You follow the page. Would a warning from an officer's personal account convince you?
The two questions
- 1What would you say to Charlotte and Eitan?
- 2How do you decide whether to act on your own or wait for the person who is supposed to decide?
What raters look for
- Problem solving
- Gathers facts before acting, considers options and consequences, and chooses a workable next step.
- Collaboration
- Works toward a shared goal, shares credit and load, and repairs friction inside a team.
