The slow handoff

You run the third leg on a masters track club's relay team.

Your relay team finished second at the regional meet by less than a second. That night your teammate Dalia writes in the club's group chat that the race was lost on your slow baton handoff, and she names you. Within minutes five club members have reacted in agreement, and nobody has messaged you directly. Your handoff was slow. You also know the team was already trailing after the first two legs, and Dalia says something like this after every loss. All thirty club members can see the thread, and practice is tomorrow evening.
