Race morning
You coordinate volunteers for a charity 5 km run.
At 6 a.m. on race day, the city calls to say that part of the approved route is closed for an emergency water main repair. Two hundred runners, many with families, will start arriving at 8 a.m., and the event raises money for a local youth shelter.
