What is the same?

Both run MMI stations, panel and one-on-one interviews you answer out loud, ask follow-up questions based on what you said, and score every answer against a rubric. Both offer Kira-style video, Casper practice, school-specific questions, model answers and residency practice, for medicine, dental, PA and pharmacy. Confetto applicants have done 54,839 mock interviews since December 2024.

Which formats and programs does each cover?

Intervly lists 15 tracks: ten professions (medical, dental, PA, pharmacy, veterinary, physical therapy, nurse anesthesia, optometry, anesthesiologist assistant and podiatry) plus CASPer, Kira Talent, residency and fellowship. Confetto covers medical school, residency, PA, dental, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, vet, CRNA and OT programs.

Casper practice on each

Intervly: timed CASPer simulations with typed and video sections, a scenario bank and a quartile estimate, on its own CASPer track with its own pricing page. Confetto: full Casper Prep is included in every plan.

Whichever you use, take Acuity's free practice test first.

One-way video (Kira-style) on each

Intervly: one-take Kira Talent simulations with randomized prep and answer timers, written sections, and playback with delivery notes. Confetto: one-way video practice for Kira-style screens and Acuity Video Interviews, with rubric scores, transcripts and delivery feedback on every answer. How do feedback and model answers compare?

Both grade each answer against a rubric, with a transcript and notes on what to fix. Intervly scores skills such as structure, clarity, pacing, depth and delivery, and says feedback arrives in under 30 seconds. Confetto adds a model answer, line-by-line suggestions and video feedback on eye contact, pacing, tone and body language. Intervly's site mentions delivery notes but not body language.

Question banks and extras

Intervly's homepage lists 1,300+ program questions, and its medical school page says its school question bank holds 5,000+. It also has short drills (Delivery Lab and Answer Builder), model answers annotated line by line and a school-by-school video library.

Confetto has over 800 medical school questions, 1,181 Casper scenarios, school-specific questions and residency questions written from your own application.

How do prices compare?

Every Confetto plan includes unlimited mock interviews, full Casper Prep and the same features. A year of Confetto is $579, about $1.59 a day, and covers the whole season from fall into spring. Intervly's longest plan is 3 months for $399.

Both cover residency. Intervly's residency page offers specialty-specific questions with follow-ups and fellowship tracks. Confetto writes residency questions from your own ERAS or CaRMS application or CV, the questions an interviewer who read it would ask.
