Updated
Casper is Acuity Insights' open-response situational judgment test: 11 scenarios, video and typed, in about 65 to 85 minutes, scored by human raters. Duet was a 15-minute value-alignment assessment, and Acuity says it will no longer be administered for the 2026-27 cycle and beyond. Snapshot, a 10-minute one-way video interview, is no longer listed on Acuity's sites.
The table compares the three from Acuity's own pages. Where Acuity no longer describes something, it says so.

Casper is an open-response situational judgment test. Per Acuity, the 2026-27 test has 4 video response scenarios with 1 minute per question, then 7 typed response scenarios with 3.5 minutes for both questions. Human raters score it, not AI.
Programs you choose get your score about 2 to 3 weeks after the test, and you get a quartile about 4 to 5 weeks after it. Each program decides how to use it. The fees are a base testing fee plus a fee for each program, listed on Acuity's Dates and Fees page. More in the Casper test explained and how Casper is scored.
Acuity describes Duet as a value-alignment assessment that helps programs and applicants understand if they are a match, and its applicant platform lists it at 15 minutes, with responses made available to programs.
Acuity's applicant platform now says that following the current admissions cycle, Duet will no longer be administered for the 2026-27 cycle and beyond. If a program page still lists Duet, ask the program what it needs now.
Acuity's applicant platform describes Snapshot as a 10-minute one-way video interview, with responses made available to programs. Acuity no longer lists it: the old Snapshot page redirects to the home page, and the Help Centre has no Snapshot article.
Acuity's current recorded interview is Video Interviews, which programs set up with their own prompts. See our Acuity video interview guide.
