PA school acceptance rates by program

14 of the 47 PA programs below publish how many people applied and how many they admitted or enrolled. Their rates run from 1.4% at UC San Diego to 11.9% at UNMC, and the middle program sits at 3.8%. Each page shows the inputs, the program's PANCE pass rate, its requirements and how it interviews.

Rates are offers divided by applicants where a program states its offers, otherwise students who enrolled divided by applicants, for the class each program names. A rate marked * is the program's own statement, with no counts published behind it. Programs count applicants differently (verified CASPA applications, completed applications), so compare with care.

Where these numbers come from

ARC-PA, which accredits PA programs, requires accredited programs to post their NCCPA PANCE pass-rate report for the last five years and their student graduation information each year. Many programs also post how many people applied, were interviewed and enrolled. We read each program's own pages, never a ranking site, and link the page behind every number. Where a program doesn't post applicant counts, its page says so instead of guessing.

Before you apply

Work out your CASPA GPA the way CASPA does with our CASPA GPA calculator. Read how each program interviews in our PA school interview guides, and when an invitation comes, try a PA interview practice session with Confetto's AI interviewer.

Confetto is not affiliated with any of these programs, ARC-PA, NCCPA, PAEA or CASPA. ARC-PA's rule is in its Standards, 6th edition (A3.11). Figures were checked on each program's website on October 28, 2026.
