Written scenario · Ethics, Professionalism
Signing off hours
You are a shift lead at a food bank.
The volunteer coordinator, your supervisor, asks you to sign a form confirming 40 volunteer hours for her nephew. You know he attended about half of those shifts. He needs the hours for a university application due this week, and your supervisor will be writing your own reference letter next month.

The two questions
- 1What would you do?
- 2Describe a time you felt pressure to bend the truth. How did you respond?
What raters look for
- Ethics
- Weighs competing duties honestly, protects people from harm, and stays accountable to rules and values.
- Professionalism
- Is reliable, respects boundaries and confidentiality, and holds a consistent standard under pressure.
