What do Confetto and MMI Practice have in common?

The core is the same. Both give you a live AI interviewer that asks follow-up questions, plus one-way practice for recording an answer alone (MMI Practice calls it async mode), and feedback on how you said something as well as what you said.

Which interview formats does each one cover?

MMI Practice is built for the multiple mini interview, with personal, situational, ethics, policy and roleplay questions and stations in French. Casper is on a separate site from the same team, CasperPractice.org. Confetto runs full MMI circuits too, plus traditional and panel interviews, one-way video (Kira-style and the Acuity Video Interview), full Casper Prep, school-specific questions, residency questions from your own ERAS application or CV, and PA, dental and nursing programs.

How is the feedback different?

MMI Practice scores content and structure, and its homepage says it also analyzes phrasing, filler words and tone of voice. Its standout is a percentile grade on its paid plans, which its FAQ says is calculated from real peer responses on MMI Practice and CasperPractice.org (32,000+ users). Confetto scores every answer on a 100-point rubric, shows a model answer and your score history, and rates body language from your video. Applicants have done 54,839 mock interviews on Confetto since December 2024.

How each one scores an answer

MMI Practice says it evaluates universal healthcare competencies such as professionalism, communication and ethical reasoning, without scoring against one framework like CanMEDS or the AAMC competencies, and teaches a framework per question type. Confetto weights content and completeness 50%, structure 25% and professional communication 25%, flags core points you missed, and a separate model rates body language from your video.

What do MMI Practice and Confetto cost?

Both MMI Practice paid cards say “Pay once, no subscription”. Free is $0 and “Never expires”, with all 350+ questions, 1 live mode interview with feedback and unlimited async interviews. Basic reads “$129 / 7 days” and “Full access for a week”, and lists “Lifetime access” with a cross beside it. Pro is “$159”, struck from “$349”, “/ lifetime” and marked “Limited time”. The page doesn't name the currency.

Confetto is $149 for 1 week, $299 for 1 month or $579 for 1 year (USD), about $1.59 a day on the year. Every plan includes unlimited mock interviews in every format we cover.

What MMI Practice's acceptance guarantee says

Its FAQ says the lifetime plan never expires, so you can keep practicing until you are accepted, at no extra charge. With Basic, if you are not accepted in the cycle you bought it, it gives you another free week next cycle after you forward your rejection email from the address on your account. The free plan does not include the guarantee.

The CasperPractice.org bundle

CasperPractice.org's pricing page offers MMI Practice lifetime access as a $89 add-on to its Casper Pro plan, shown struck from $349. MMI Practice's FAQ says access bought that way unlocks when you sign in with the same email.

Is mmipractice.org legit?

Its own pages publish a support email, terms of use, a privacy note and a statement that it is independent of any school or admissions organization. They don't list a company name or address. Confetto is made by Trueplace Technologies Inc.
